Dr. Miao Huaming of Dijia Pharmaceutical won the Shandong Youth Science and Technology Award
Recently, the list of winners of the 12th Shandong Youth Science and Technology Award jointly selected by the Organization Department of the Provincial CPC Committee, the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and the Provincial Association for Science and Technology was announced. Dr. Miao Huaming of Dijia Pharmaceutical Group, a subsidiary of Disha Pharmaceutical Group, was among them. This is the first time that scientific and technological workers in Shandong Wendeng Economic Development Zone have won the award after 24 years.
Dr. Miao Huaming is currently the director of the scientific research center of Dijia Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., engaged in chemical drug research for more than ten years, committed to the development and application of new pharmaceutical processes and technologies, focusing on catalysis, stacking and shrinking processes, etc. He is good at multi-technology joint application, good at developing new processes, and solving technical problems in the field of traditional synthesis.
The large investment, long cycle and high risk in drug research and development are a major test of the perseverance of R & D personnel. Withstood the pressure brought by the boring laboratory and numerous failures, Miao Huaming's team successfully developed a new route for drug synthesis, and has conducted in-depth research in the fields of new catalysis and process enhancement technology to solve traditional processes, especially in biological enzyme catalytic synthesis technology and continuous flow micro-reaction technology, and has achieved certain results. Under the leadership of Dr. Miao Huaming, Degas Pharmaceuticals has now built two major technology research and development teams, biological enzyme development and chemical drug process development and optimization, forming a multi-echelon collocation and multi-disciplinary background integration of talent structure.
